No need to get tickets in advance. Once you get to the track you can always buy a ticket to the race. After the race be prepared to walk for hours, don't take a taxi or drive, wear comfortable shoes, gridlock is terrible and it could take you possibly up 2-3 hrs to get to a hotel. (I had not booked one, until after the race) My experience was a few years ago, perhaps the gridlock has been solved, but....They will let you use the phone at the Hotel at the track and provide tel numbers if you ask nicely. Pictures to be added at future date.
During the race you can walk around all over the track be sure to take a ride in the ferris wheel. Some amazing dishes to be tried while walking around , and interesting people to meet.

Suzuka - home of the F1 Grand Prix in Japan!

2003 - Schumacher made his record 6th straight world champion... - only just! It was a humid overcast day, quite different from the sunny (but hot) race day last year. 2002 - Husain and I set off on...

Suzuka, the home of my friends......

Back in 1998, I used to work real close to the track and have been before, but never on a race day, whether cars or motorbikes. My friends live 20 minutes away and kindly let Eddie and I stay over......
