From Osaka, you can easily get to Toba with only one transfer. From Osaka Station, go to Tsuruhashi. From Tsuruhashi you can then go directly to Toba Station using the Kintetsu Line.
The cost from Osaka is approximately 3620 yen, but prices are always subject to change, so check before you go.

The ferry takes about 1 hour and it`s a convenient to use when you are approaching Ise Peninsula from Tokyo by car. Price is about the same as a highway fee.

The Toba Aquarium is one of the best aquariums in Japan. Indeed, it is even better than Osaka's famous Kaiyukan, in my opinion, although it also costs 400 yen more. One of the main attractions here......
