As I found this one very accomodating and they serve good foods either for breakfast, lunch and dinner they also served it sumptously! I was happy to finally found this non-Japanese style serving foods which the price is affordable. The ambience that looks very elegant but I guess the hotel itself is old but they keep it very clean that's why,it looks classy still!
Favorite Dish: Hmmm..Stir friend chicken soup served with broccoli..I don't think this is the right word for the meal I had;-)

dont miss this restaurant on Clis Rd in central sendai. it is hard to find. when you are walking west on Clis (a covered street with plenty of shopping), on the right, you will see a sign with the italian flag colors (green red and white). the day we went, they displayed plastic examples of what food they serve. if you are tired of noodles and raw fish and need something western, this is the best (and not too expensive) italian food we've found yet! they have a good thin crust cheesy pizza, fair salads, good pasta (cooked to al dente). drinks are small and they dont really speak english, but GREAT coffee and fair desserts. menu is subtitled in english. my husband and i did the dinner for 2 meal (one large salad, a pizza of your choice, a pasta of your choice, 1 dessert, 2 drinks, and 2 coffees) for about $37 (USD).
heres a website if you can read japanese:

Favorite Dish: the spaghetti in a spicy garlic oil sauce with chicken. i think the penne arrabbiata would be good too. the marghuerita pizza was fab. cheesy, and a nice thin crispy crust. great gelato.

Finding Mexican food in Japan is hard enough. But this place was actually good! I mean it's not like the real thing but as close as you're going to get here. Could use more spice but the burritos were definitely made with love. Great beer list - Dos Equis, Bohemia, Corona, Negro Modelo and a great tequilla list. But unless you've got a man to blow skip the tequilla. Prices per shot are about the same as a bottle. About $15US for one shot of the good stuff. But the beer and food prices were just about the same as any other mid range Izakaya.
Favorite Dish: Burritos and beer for sure!

If you fancy to taste their speciality, of course you should try this one! Along the ground floor of the train station you can find variety of Japanese food chains. We tried the Teriyaki and I nearly vomit in it..yikes! anyway, that was the first time...Now, missing it;-)

These 2 chaps are students from Mongolia! How did I find out? Because of my limited vocabulary in Japanese, I tried to converse in English. & they didn't understand! So, one of the guy asked me in Mandarin instead! Boy, was I amazed! We chatted for a while & I found out they were originally from Mongolia & are currently learning Japanese in Sendai. This was my 1st encounter with a Mongolian & it's just great. Now, I'd really like to visit Mongolia for a vacation! :))) It's really a very wonderful & special feeling to find someone who can speak the same language in a country like Japan.

The menu is all in Japanese, but as with many restaurants, there are window displays that you can use to point to your choices. If you know the names of the fish or meats you want, you can personalize your order.
Favorite Dish: All types of okonomiyaki, an egg and cabbage savory pancake grilled in front of you. One adds different meats, fish, and vegetables to make it complete.
