The other guy couldnt be more wrong. Alibis is a great bar and I have been there personally a few times. The girls do not prostitute themselves out and I dont know of anyone who has ever been offered a prostitute there. It is not one of those "buy me drink" bars that populate most of sailor town. The girls there always take care of their customers and everyone always has fun. Alibis is a great place to go and have a few drinks after work. The other guy must either be confused about the bar or high.

This bar is not safe for sailors. The owner of the bar Meribeth (she calls her self Shela) has her boyfriend assault people when the get too drunk of course they never let on that they are together. She has hired sailors from the local base to purchase alcohol from the military exchange for her bar and then sells it as if she has bought it legally. She pays them by letting them pay a dicounted rate to have sex with her and her girls. This bar needs to be shut down. Sailors enjoy the bar because she prostitutes herself and the girls who work there out to them. You pay for the girl you want and they take you up to an apartment on the 10th floor of the Nakatomi building on the next street over. She paid one sailor I know of to make bootleg DVD's of music videos and then when he wanted his money she had him beat up. The girls at the other bars are warning people not to go to her bar as it is just not safe place.

This is a business that is strictly for pleasure. Yes this is a spot totally for adults only. Trust Information and other establishments in the area is a high tech sex service. Soon your number will be called and you go around to the front where the lady you've ordered greets you and takes you to the assigned room upstairs. Once in the room with the lady you can purchase the amount of time you desire. Prices range from 5000 Yen to 30000 Yen or more. 5000 Yen buys you roughly 30 minutes. You begin with the female giving you a shower. Then foreplay and then action. You will finish with another shower. Nice place for unportected oral sex.

Dress Code: I do believe as long as you have clothes on and currency you may take part in the fun.

i`ve notice at almost all the bar girls in sailortown that when they learned that you are new at sasebo they will going to get all your cash starting at singing karaoke then a little bit of kissing, hugging,making you believe that you are their type,promising that after work they will sleep with you; but beware, that`s their way of making you spend all your money and use your credit cards. you`re going to get up the next day feeling stupid and poor,no money.but if you are young , with good looks and at least ready to spend at least 200 dollars inside the bar you`ll have a chance of getting a bar girl at butterfly. but don`t ever say it directly that you want something,because all the bar girls have their "pride" ,just let them drink and if you are the lucky guy that night then you will wake up the next day satisfied.

This bar was one of the rowdy and hip places to hang in the 1970's. Although they have moved from there original location from the 70's, they still have much of the memorabilia from days past on the walls. Now a days, you still find some young sailors out celebrating a special occassion, or the local japanese buisnessmen out singing away with the kareoke machine here.

It's funny to me, however a few of the waitresses have been working at the Westerner since the 1970's. They will have no problem sitting down with you and remincing about the good ole days. This bar is one of the oldest and most nostalgic in Sasebo.

Welcome to POLO Bar also under the same ownership of DREAM Bar. This bar has the same athmosphere as DREAM. The only difference is it's size and drinks. They have upgraded their karaoke system by intalling a huge plasma screen to the wall. The ladies there are pretty nice, consisting of a mixture of Japanese to Filippina women. They use to have this little Japanese girl who work there that was always severly intoxicated way before midnight. You can sit at the large horse shoe bar or just veg on their little coaches in the other side. What is unique about this bar is that it has two working restrooms. No more waiting in line. Well that is all I have to say about this place. Oh one more thing they do cycle the girls here so don't be surprised if you walk into DREAM and see the same girl that was working at POLO the night before.

This is one of the few nicest and cleanest bars out in Sailor Town. DREAM also has a sister bar named POLO which is also under the same management. You can chill here with your friends and drink and sing songs. It is quiet and comfy with a warm touch to it. It's bar ladies are quite friendly and cute. On military paydays you will find this place packed to the brim with sailors. Opens from 8:00pm to 3:00am.

This bar is a unique bar. Though the price has went up maybe due to the prices of gas going up it was once 5000 Yen but now it is 8000 Yen. Here you can have a drink at a semi private booth for you. But with what happens here you might forget about your drink. Basically it is a blow job bar. It is dark with many booths and the music is always a loud Euro Trance type music so it will drown out many unwanted noises from others.

Dress Code: If you plan to walk around town naked, it's not my problem.
