Party up on the Base
After my friend Tom's official retirement get together, we went to the park for the unofficial drink-a-thon to celebrate his last days in the Navy. While we were there a blast from the past showed up. The guy in the middle of the picture was my old boss in Hawaii. The guy on the left also use to work with Big Herm in Hawaii on the USS Crommelin.
Here are a few pictures taken on crossing bridges over Route 35 and one taken from the street level of the buildings in downtown Sasebo.
A decorative wall depicting people from around the world. This wall is near JMSDF and Nimitz Park on Kokusai-dori Avenue.
Mt. Yumihari. At the top of this mountain is the Yumiharidake Outlook where you can gaze for miles above the city. It is also a well known make out spot.
