Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: An umbrella is required . It rains in Sasebo alot Sept thru May. Where I am from in the US, if your a man and you are carrying an Umbrella, they may think "your a little light in the loafers".
Here is Sasebo, if it's raining and you don't have an Umbrella, "your an idiot"!

Luggage and bags: Doesn't matter!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Warning!!! I usually pack light and buy what I need to get threw the trip, but people here are really small and it is hard to impossible to find clothing and shoes that fit!
Miscellaneous: Adapters for your electronics because they use a different voltage than in the US.
