The best clubs and raves in Tokyo are free!! Most Sundays ravers head to Yayogi Park near the Shibuya entrance. It starts late in the afternoon and goes all night. There is usually a good crowd of between 100 to 500 and you can usually find whatever it is you need. Other raves are held regularly throughout the summer on beaches, mountains and in temples. These are usually word of mouth but are sometimes listed in the tokyo classified. |

I was fortunate to be in Japan for two hot events, Pharrell from the Neptunes concert and Japan's Reggae fest in Yoyogi Park. I didn't realize that the Japanese love and sincerely appreciates Reggae music. There are lots of bars and clubs that play reggae music. Can't remember all the clubs we went to in Tokyo but they were all so much fun. |

In Fukuoka I prefer the Voodoo Lounge and The Dark Room. We visited just about every bar in Japan, but these were the bars that stuck out in my mind the most. Both bars are gaijin bars, but the uniqueness was the attitued with which we were treated. I would do most anything for those people because of their kind, accommodating actions. Anything you want that doesn't break the law. |

Nigaata, town if you fly in/out Tokyo, you pass by Nigaata town, 20min from airport big expat community, many flight personnel seem to spend nights out there |

None specific. The bars in Roppongi are nice. It is also a great place to go if you are getting a little homesick because the other area is filled with tourist. Most of the bars in the area are ran by English speakers so you should have no problem. Another great thing to do is Karaoke. Unlike most American Karaoke which is done in front of everyone at a bar most places in Japan you actually rent a room with your friends. They have a phone on the wall to call and order drinks and snacks which is nice because you don't have to get up. If you like video games you can normally find a arcade and Tokyo has some of the best. Pachinko is also fun but I don't recommend it on a regular basis because you can blow a lot of money fast. For all things I have talked about you can pretty much wear nomal clothes whatever is comfortable. If you are going to a nice bar you may want to get a little more dressed up but that is about all. |

Roppongi!!! Go to Roppongi in Tokyo. It is absolutly awesome, never been anywhere like it. Only thing is there are a lot of people standing in the street trying to get you to go into their club. Go with them, if you like it stay if you don't leave and go find GAS PANIC! |
