Stores, Malls or Markets in Okayama-ken

If you visit or leave Okayama on the Shinkansen (bullet train), then you will notice that there are many shops in Okayama Station. They sell many items that Okayama is known for, mainly Momotarou (peach boy) merchandise and peaches, as well as things that Japan is known for. This is great for anyone who is leaving Okayama, but wants to purchase souvenirs that they did not have the chance to purchase while they were in Okayama. Okayama station sells books/manga, food, and many knick-knacks and souvenir items. They also sell cameras and other things that are nice to have if you forgot them or used up all of your film!

What to buy: It may sound strange, but if you haven't eaten an Okayama peach, then I'd suggest that you purchase some and try them. There's a reason they're famous for their peaches!
