Okinawa is an excellent place for diving. If you are military or a dependent, you can take advantage of the most inexpensive PADI dive courses you'll find anywhere in the world.

There are many options for dive sites all around the island.

- Sunabe Seawall
- Oura Wan Bay
- Horseshoe Beach
- Toilet Bowl
- Hedo Point

Equipment: Rental equipment is inexpensive through any of the bases on island.
