Luggage and bags: Don't over pack as most restaurants are casual and shorts and t-shirts are allowed.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Beach sandals, which are known locally as "shimazori."
Light clothing. A hat to protect your head from the sun.
Swim wear
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Plenty of sunscreen....The stuff is expensive in Okinawa!
If you are budget traveling, definitely bring mosquito repellant and mosquito coils!
Photo Equipment: Enough memory cards.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Light tent
Miscellaneous: Snorkeling is popular but if you're joining a tour, a mask, fins, and snorkel are provided. If you are going to snorkel everyday and know where to go, bring your own gear. If not, it is best to join a tour.
