Favorite thing: There are a few Catholic churches around, but the only one in the morning is in Umeda. Kitano Catholic Church is just north of the Hankyu International Hotel. If you are standing in front of the hotel (with the hotel infront of you) the big red ferris wheel on top of Hep 5 is to the right. Walk to the traffic lights up on the left, and cross over. Keep walking and it is just on the right across the road from the Pias Tower (you can see it from the hotel). Or you can catch the Midosuji line to Nakkatsu (one past Umeda). Go out exit four and starbucks is on the left. Walk past starbucks and down the little steps. Turn right and walk down the street past the convinience store. The church is th next corner on the right.
English mass is at 9am.
You can find a map and mass times at http://www.kitano-mikuni.catholic.ne.jp/ (the map is just in japanese though).

Favorite thing: There are heaps around, but the cheapest I have found so far is BB Planet (only the BB is in English though). It is Y300 for two hours for the open seats (`o-pen se-ki`). It has the normal all you can drink coca cola that the others do. You can`t print or use Word/Excell in all the booths, so you need to tell them if you want to use them before they give you a booth. They also have web cameras, headphones and mics too. You need some form of ID the first time you go.
Fondest memory: It is along the Dotonbori river. You can actually see it from the bridge (there is a big Y300 for two hours sign in the window). If you walk over the Dotonbori bridge on Shinsaibashi Suji towards Shinsaibashi (so Namba is behind you), turn right just over the bridge before the street is covered again (so turn at Kirin beer plaza). It is just a couple of shops along on the right side. You can see the GAL MART sign, it is the shop on the right of that. Take the lift to the 4th floor. (You will see a sign outside with the prices).

Favorite thing: (I`m really only adding this because I took the photo while having to wait awhile there)
If you flew over on Air New Zealand and you need to go see them, they are on the 4th floor of the OCAT building (JR Namba station). They are at the south end of the building on the right side. They speak english, and are very friendly.
