Favorite thing: After a walk up at the observatory, we came down and found this little resting place just beside the building. The little "park" was bloom with some flowers and thought they were nice & pretty so took some photos of it. After seeing lots of cherry blossoms of white & pink flowers, this mix of yellow & purple flowers were definately a welcome treat to the eyes!

Favorite thing: This deck 170 meters above ground between the towers of the Umeda Sky Building has a circular opening in the center. The building was designed with Paris Arc de Triomphe in mind, and from the observatory one can see all of Osaka and even to Awaji Island.

Umeda Sky Building

Favorite thing: I thought this building was really cool!
It was within walking distance of JR Umeda Station.
Which is very centrally located. The building is said to be one of the gret 'sky gardens'... don't know what I mean??? Make a trip to Osaka to see for yourself!!

Favorite thing: Go to the Sky Tower and see Osaka at night.
You can't love a city until you see it at night and even the ugliest cities look good at night so don't leave without doing it! If you want you can pay to go to the observation deck or you can take the elevator to the floor which has a walkway between the two parts of the building and sneak up for free. It's as good I'm sure and I don't know for 100% that you arn't allowed!!!

Fondest memory: The mix of the Garden underneath the Sky Tower with it's wild flowers and herbs and the view from the Tower.

Q:  Hi, I will be travelling to Osaka in a few days and I would like to ask when will the rush hours be around? Thanks!

A: I don't live in Osaka, but rush hour should be the same as in every other major city. 7:30-9:00am and 5:30-7:00pm. If it is anything like Tokyo, the evening rush can...
