The Silver Ball outside OCAT (Osaka City Air Terminal - where the buses leave from the city to Kansai Airport) is where, in the evenings the more energetic young people of Osaka come to practice their dance steps. It's not unusual to see helmet wearing boys spinning around, just on their heads. Whilst very quiet in the winter, this place is packed in the warmer months. A great place to drop on the floor with a beer and watch the show.

Watch the kids rock on Friday nights at the Umeda Station overpasses! They have amplifiers, microfones... some even their own CD's. My favorite is Crambo.
