If you love perfumes this museum is good for you. It also has unique exhibits to test your sense of smell. So it is a good place for a family trip as well. There is a nice park close to the museum. Photo #3 is one of the rooms to taste five different smells. After entering the room touch the balloom and you will have the particular smell. Photo #4 is one of the items displayed on the history of perfume section of the museum. Inside the museum there is a small museum shop and a restaurant(photo #5)
Open: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on Mondays or the day after the national holidays on Monday.
Also closed during year-ends holidays. (Generally from December 29 to January 4)
Admission: 300 yen for adults. (Group tour discount(party of 20 or more tourists) 250yen)
100 yen for elementary and junior high school students. (group discount 80 yen).
