From the park area near Shizuoka Prefectural Musuem of Art, you can enjoy walking in riverside trail of Yoshida River or even to the summit of Nihondaira Hill.
Start the walk from Grassy Park of University of Shizuoka then you go down the hill around the museum and walk upstream toward Heitakuji Temple commonly called as HIRASAWA KANNON. From Hirasawa Kannon you will have to decide whether you go up to the top of the Nihondaira hill or go up to the lower hill where Shizuoka Performance Arts Center(SPAC) is located.
A: SPAC course. Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art....Heitakuji Temple(Hirasawa Kannon) ....Shizuoka Performance Arts Center...Seed Tree of Yabukita Green Tea...Kusanagi Shrine...JR Kusanagi Station. About 2 and a half to three hours.
I will post another tip for Nihondaira Hiking Trails later.
