This is a great beach not far from Yaizu, just about 30 minutes drive on route 150...

The beach is about 1.5km long and its shallow for about 100 meters into the sea....

you can enjoy surfing all year round. You will be able to see many of them trying to catch a wave or two..

Various competitions are held here and you can also receive instructions. Throughout the town there are many shops where you buy or rent all the gear you need.

Be warn that in the summer it does get very crowded, and take lots of suntan lotion and something to shade from the sun....

Most beaches in japan do not have any kind of trees on the beach...
