Niji-No-Sato" is a flower park located close to the town of Shuzenji in Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka prefecture.

Its offers six parks in a vast area, comprising a British Village, a Canadian Village, Craftsmen's Village, a Fairy Village, an Izu Village and a Japanese Garden, where one can enjoy various seasonal flowers through the year.

You can take the many train available, pay one way and walk back and enjoy the flower park....

I went in december and only Christmass decor was seen, not much flowers, but try to go in the spring or fall, its should be really nice..

    Shuzenji Onsen

Favorite thing: Shuzenji is the terminal of the local train from Mishima in Izu Peninsula. Besides the JR which runs along the eastern coast, taking Tokai bus is the only way to travel around the rest of the peninsula. It is a small and peaceful village, with a river running thro it.

Fondest memory: To go there, take the Shinkenshin, Hikari to Mishima [just half an hour from Tokyo station] and then another half an hour by local train to Shuzenji, followed by 10 minutes bus to Shuzenji Onsen Terminal.
