Although Meguro station area has a number of fancy restaurants some of which provide ethinic cuisines, I chose to have lunch at Yoshinoya at the west exit side of Meguro station. Kabayaki(Broiled Eel) one of the popular summer dishes in Japan is served for only 650 yen here, about half or two-third price of ordinary restaurants. Not bad for an inexpensive version.
Happo-en is a popular wedding hall in Shirokanedai Minato-ku . It is also known for its Japanese garden. There are two restaurants: Enju, Japanese Restaurant, and Thrush // Cafe, Cafe Restaurant. Also there is a tea house Muan which serves matcha powder tea.
