A chain of beautiful volcanic islands. All can be reached by boat. Oshima, Miyakejima, and Hachijojima are served by air from Haneda Airport, while Oshima, Niijima, and Kozushima have air connections with suburban Chofu Airport.
What to see and do: View the coastal scenery; climb a volcano; enjoy the seasonal flowers; go fishing; participate in marine sports in the summer; watch birds & dolphins; relax in a hot-spring bath (indoor and outdoor).
Access by boat: Boats to Izu Seven Islands depart daily from Tokai Kisen's Passenger Boat Terminal at Takeshiba Pier, 7 min walk from JR Hamamtsu-cho Stn. Fares from Tokyo to Oshima: ¥3, 810- ¥11, 430; to Hachijojima ¥7, 180- “2¥1, 540. There are also some departures from Yokohama. Atami, Ito and Inatori to some of the islands. The Albatross, a rapid craft, between Tokyo and Oshima Island.
You will be able to make a day's trip to the Island of Izu Oshima from Tokyo proper as well. Fare(One way) ¥5, 500-.

Some of those who are into Japanese anime (animation movie) may know the name of a movie production Studio Ghibli.
They have a museum of their own, never be like Disney Land though.
It's a good excursion for those Japanese anime freaks and children. The movie character Totoro will be at the reception, you can ride on the Cat Bus and you will be in the nice art in the chic cozy house like building.

On my first visit I didnt have chance to visit Disneyland. So for 2nd visit, I took my kids to Disneyland and they love it!. So many things to do there. A lot of Disney characters, show, Disney Sea, Disney wolds and etc. You can get half price if you're a student. Sorry I dont remember how much I pay per entry.
