Seeing that the chef spent a few years living in one of Kingston, Jamaica's most notorious areas, he must have some skills, right? Well yes he does! Walk into the restaurant and you'll feel like you should be at a roadside vendor in the Caribbean. The chef greets visitors which a cheerful 'irrashaimase' and patiently waits for you to choose your order from the menu. This is one of the only places I've been to in Tokyo where you pay first then eat. You can order Red Stripe beer and mango juice and even Hemp beer! While you wait for your food, relax and listen to the DJ spin or watch videos of dancehall artists. There are plenty of books in Japanese that describe Jamaican culture. Great food and nice cool ambience! One of my favourite places to go and it reminds me of my Mom's cookin'
