Finding vegetarian-friendly restaurants in Tokyo can be quite difficult, but don't let that stop you from looking! I tried several, but the one I'm still dreaming about is Maimu, in Nihombashi. The name means 'Rice Dream,' which couldn't be more apt. The selling point of this restaurant is the organic brown rice, which comes with most dishes. I had the Indian curry made with 30 spices. Waii!!! The Japanese do know how to do curry, and you can't do better than this. Consider the cool neon decor and jazzy atmosphere, and this was the best food experience I had outside of Japanese home cooking.
