Starbucks: Coffee House
American Coffee is porpular in Japan. You can easily see one Starbuck in every 500m. Other than Starbucks Coffee, I still prefer the taste of Segafredo Zenatti. If you see one, drink both then compare how the taste like.
Favorite Dish: Ice Coffee Latte without sugar, topping with Vanila float.
Starbucks: View from Starbucks
Though its really just another coffee shop, the Starbucks at the Shinjuku intersection is one that offers a great view of a hugely busy intersection. A good place to just sit quietly and have your cup of coffee and see the world go by down below. Though its a pretty big shop, its pretty crowded and sometimes you may need to hang around before you find a place to sit. So when you do find that empty seat-- hang on to it!
Starbucks Shinagawa Station: lots of kawaii japanese girls
starbucks in japan as in other countries is always full of customers but what bought me here is to buy a tokyo starbucks mug and also to ogle at the many kawaii japanese teeners and office ladies hanging around this starbucks joint in shinagawa station. I love their Starbucks because of the view hehehe. Strabucks maybe popular in Japan but local japanese coffee chains have more branches than Starbucks like the UCC Coffee Chain and Doutour and other local coffee chains.
Favorite Dish: the usual iced latte venti at 500 yen for me and I bought a Starbucks Tokyo Coffee Mug for 980 yen with free refill of any hot coffee beverage and my friend chose the hot americano coffee. the hot coffee's usually start at 350 yen for tall and 400 yen for tall and 450 for venti.

Starbucks - Shibuya Crossing
Starbucks has its best Tokyo location in Shibuya on the first and second floor of the Tsutaya music store directly across the street from Shibuya Station. Sure the coffee is good, and they have a few snacks. Even better is that Tsutaya allows you to drink your coffee while browsing music.
However, the real draw here is that Starbucks has huge windows overlooking world-famous Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest and most chaotic intersections in the world. From here you have a fantastic vantage point, as thousands of people wait patiently for the lights to change, then they surge out into the street like a wave. A minute later, and the people are gone, and traffic flows again.
Here's my video of Shibuya Crossing from across the street at Starbucks: http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/vv/7d06/.
Here is a link to another video I took at Shibuya Crossing late at night: http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/vv/7d07/.
Starbucks: Coffee Addict
Starbucks in japan is commonly crowded...i think it's because japanese loves coffe shops..They always love to hang out and usualy stay here for a chat with friends. The shop is not that wide uit it depends on the branch it's located. In Shibuya they have 2-floored shop which accomodates fairly well during peak hours..
Favorite Dish: I love their cinnamon bread..and their coffee late..other than that,it's nice trying different flavors too if you wish.Sometimes every month they always come up with different twist to flavors..I also love collecting their tumblers everytime i go to different starbucks in different city..:)

Starbucks: Coffee with a view
Starbucks in Shibuya is above a music shop. There isn't much in the way of seating and its very busy but what makes this Starbucks special is the view from the window. You can people watch looking over the famous Shibuya 5 way crossing, its quite a sight!
We bought a hot drink and a cookie each and were lucky that we managed to nab a couple of stools after a few minutes wait. We took a few photos of the crossing but when I went to take a photo of my boyfriend infront of the window looking out onto the street below I was told by a member of staff no photography!!! I found this a bit odd considering how the Japanese are supposedly, if not stereotypically, a snap happy nation.
Favorite Dish: Starbucks is Starbucks. If it hadn't been for the view we wouldn't have even come here.
