Tokyo is a great big city. And to my surprise it is not full with souvenir shops all over the place. But we found this great store located among the high end shopping in the Harajuku. The prices were great and the selection was outstanding. 3 floors of local crafts, such as chop sticks, samuri swords, t-shirts. Not your tacky stuff but some great quality stuff. The location is caddy corner to the Ralph Lauren Store on the main tree lined street. You can't miss the Ralph Lauren Store ... it's the only stand alone store on the street. Credit cards are accepted on all the different floors.

parallel streets of takeshita dori for female teen shopping and omotesando for luxury shopping! they are just 200 meters apart. Shopping in Harajuku starts opposite Harajuku Station, Takeshita-dori is a narrow street packed with young fashionable people and lined with fashion boutiques and cafes. This is definitely the place to be seen if you are young Tokyoite, but well worth visiting as a tourist. Takeshita-dori represents the cutting edge of fashion in Tokyo where you can see all the latest in Japanese street fashion and then buy in the boutiques. Harajuku Shopping then shifts to the very upscale Omotesando, which is a broad, tree-lined avenue leading downhill from the southern end of the JR Harajuku station. This is the other side to Harajuku Fashion and its challenge to Shibuya and Ginza. Not only is the street full of cafes and international brand clothing boutiques, but now features the very up market Omotesando Hills. If Paris or Milan is the center of the world of fashion design, then Omotesando is the center of world fashion consumption.
What to buy: depends on what you buy, teen fashion in takeshita dori starts at 2000 yen for clothes, 3,000 yen for shoes, 450 yen for harajuku crepes. In Omotesando, prices are sky high that you will maxx out your credit card!
What to pay: maxx out your platinum credit card

The shops located in Takeshita Street contain endless fashion. Whatever type of person you would like to be, you can buy clothes to create that person. From goth to cute cartoon fashion, it is all was all very exciting for me
The shops in Takeshita Street are very small, so be prepared to squeeze and also be patient!
What to buy: I bought mini skirt with layers of petticoats, hats, knee high socks, bright coloured stockings and goth jumpers! I surely will stand out back home!

I was thinking it would be just for kids... but I was wrong. It's full of cute toys and interesting things that amuse adult as well some of the stuffs I believe made for adult. It has 5 or 6floors that each floor run as a different theme. It’s highly recommended to who are interested in Japanese toys and amine, of course there are a lot of Hello Kitty too or just looking around is pretty amazing. I guarantee that you would forget time like everytime I do.
What to buy: Japanese toys and anime character goods.

This mall is one of the latest shopping paradise in Tokyo. You can find all the known brand names. However, take care of the prices - actually depending on where you come from. Though, Tokyo seems to be very expensive for shopping.
Some of the shops you can find here is Napapijri, Porsche Design, Yves Saint Laurent, Quiksilver, Dolce & Gabbana, Dunhill

Takeshita is like paradise for the consumption-loving Japanese teenagers. It is a little street open only for pedestrians, 400 m long, with all kinds of shops aimed mainly at teenagers. Many western designers get their ideas from Japan and Takeshita-dôri is regarded as one of the greatest hotbed for new trends that vanish as fast as they come. Right now Takeshita-dôri is full of HipHop-stores more fashionable than the ones in America. Additionally rock-, gothic-, accessory-, shoe-, second hand and cosplay shops can be found as well.
Strolling around this street is definately a must-do for visitors of Tokyo.
What to buy: HipHop-Outfits, Alternative-, Gothic-, Hard-Rock and many more styles of clothes.
What to pay: Takeshita-dôri is comparatively cheap.

This is a famous shopping street catering to the trendy people. It is directly across from the entrance of JR Harajuku Station on the Yamamote Line.
What to buy: There are a lot delicious crepe stalls and coffee shops lining this street. Nearby Omotesando (the famous tree lined street in Harajuku) has many other eateries, but quite expensive.
