    Meguro Parasitological Museum

Parasitology seems to be less-concerned areas of science. But this museum tells us otherwise. Parasites are often the transmitter of contageous diseases, and some of them even kill the coniferous trees Japanese love, pine trees. The most interesting feature of the museum is you can actually touch the replica of the longest parasite on earth about 9 meters in length.

Great fun this place, that is if you have a strong stomach!
Of special mention is the 8 metre long tapeworm that was removed from someone's body!

One of Tokyo's more interesting museums, if you ask me.

Check out 2 floors of parasite fun. No English, but plenty of pictures and "things" to see. Its certainly something different to do. The price is right, at free!

After, you can check out some real parasites at a yoshinoya or sukiya ;)
