a very nice old temple which provides solace for the believers or just an interesting, historical, relaxing place to be for plain tourists. it's a short walk from the train station. the wooden beams and hgh ceilings, the mat floors, and the ancient statues of buddhsit figures inside are awe inspiring.

Fukagawa is one of these few places in Tokyo which have the old Edo feel. It is located on the right bank of the Sumida river. Full of charming, narrow streets lined with small shops. The gateway to Fukagawa from the left bank of Sumida: the Eitai-bashi bridge, affords some exceptional views of Tsukishima and Tsukuda island neighbourhood.
