Plum blossoms bloom in late february to early march. I went in mid feb and the flowers just started blooming. Still lovely nonetheless. They look pretty much like cherry blossoms when you just see the entire tree.
Stalls set up and perfomances held to add to the atmosphere. Go join in the fun!

The Yushima shrine is close to the university and many students come here to pray for good grades, or getting through the entance exam for university..
The wooden prayers are all hanging on the racks, and sometimes it are thank you prayers too.
