Personally, I couldn't find a trap in here but if ever I can find and experience it later or sooner then, you should know for sure;-)
I like taking photo in this style as people do usual.In Sendai.
The roppongi area is fine if you want a late night but there are other areas in Tokyo and Japan which are much better.
Please avoid the Nagasaky Youth Hostel. Awful !!!
If you do not have a large budget I would not go up Tokyo Tower and Landmark Tower
