Tokyo Tower. Not necessarily a trap, but don't go on a Saturday afternoon like I did, or you will wait forever in line to go up then again to come down.

Beware Karaoke bars, don't get sucked in. Remember, EVERYTHING in a Japanese bar has to be paid for including peanuts, and talking to attractive members of the staff. THERE IS no free lunch.
tokyo-shinjuku is a big shopping area,but people may propose you immoral activities(I refused of course)

The only one I can think of is the exhorbitant cost of some nightclubs--the ones that aren't 'Japanese Only'. There are quite a few of them.
THE #1 TOURIST TRAP IS THE ELECTRONIC STORES. GO INTO 1 AND YOU'LL NEVER WANNA COME OUT!
