salisbury3933 Says: Fushiki is where the boat from Russia arrives. From the ferry terminal, it's about 500 metres to Fushiki station, from where there is a local train bound for Takaoka, from where you can connect to trains bound to the larger cities of Japan.

Fushiki is only really notable from a touristic viewpoint as the place where the ship from Vladivostok arrives It's a quick walk from the port to the train station.
