hyaku yen, is a store where every thing inside is for 100 yen unless it is identified on the product. its awsome cause you will find almost everything inside that you would need in your daily life. i really love going around and knowing exactly how much i will pay when i go to the check desk.
What to buy: stationary is the best thing inside
What to pay: every thing is 100 yen, so just count your items and you will know how much without using a calculator

If you got an itch for shopping you can always head off to one of the many malls in the area. There is also the opened sogawa shopping arcade with its many cloths shops. I doubt you’ll find the experience in your top ten things you’ve done in Japan, but hey, its Toyama!
At night, you find the local youth bust out their latest dance routines. Always fun.
