on the beach: hanabi - fire works!!!
nathasha Says: i thought it would be romantic to take a walk on the beach after dark, finally it would be empty of people...i could have not been more wrong!!! day or night in the summer, the beach is likely to be full of people!! in the evening families, couples and groups of teenagers...
nathasha Says: you can rent bikes at the shirahama train station, where you can also leave ur backpack etc if you are carrying one. a mountain bike costs 2000 yen, a normal bike a little less. anyways its well worth the money and much more adventurous than going around in a car or a bus....
take care shooting the fire works!
nathasha Says: the fire works are beautiful, but remember to be careful shooting them...best would be to shoot from a spot distant enough from other people, direct the sticks toward the ocean and wear protective goggles....however u will see nobody doing that!!! so be careful walking...
