Wakayama style Ramen(shoyu - soy sauce)
Really first rate ramen, best I've had in a long time.
Favorite Dish: If you like Ramen, and you are in Wakayama you have to go here, the staff don't speak English but just order the chuka soba, or you could just order the shoya ramen (they are the same thing but in Wakayama they call it chuka soba).

I visited a friend in Wakayama, stayed two days. More than enough, since there is nothing especially interesting in this city. Worth visiting are the castle, the Kimiidera temple, and the university.
