As beautiful and efficient as Alpine Route is, to be honest, this just has to be mentioned, or rather shown here.

At least they try to make it as efficient as possible wit h taking paper stubs with a number ,etc.

I don't know if it was because of the season or if it is always like this, but a recommendation to avoid is to take the less travelled route in reverse, i.e. from Omachi toward Toyama.

Actually this Tateyama is located in Toyama-ken...
