Pachinko!!!!
Even way out in inaka, you can still find the national pastime known as Pachinko. It's an absurd waste of time and money...and sanity really. I can't stress this enough....don't go there. But if you like the bizzarre, have a go but just don't stay. I would doubt most non-Japanese could take it anyway...I couldn't. Take pictures and leave go to Karaoke instead! I never did this in the states but here Karaoke is cool and even fun! Get some drinks and good friends and spend the night singing (and drinking) your troubles away
