Tre-Kronor Restaurant in Astana

The Tre-Kronor (three crowns) restaurant is a brewery/pub restaurant that serves a European cuisine.I ate at this restaurant along with a customer. There were about 7 of us altogether.They mentioned that this restaurant was a popular lunch restaurant and that many business lunches and dinners were held here.The staff was excellent and attentive and the food was good.It is a modern setting and it has some of its brewing heritage on display.You will enjoy this restaurant if you go to Astana.

Kazakh steakhouse in a Medieval Style: The Lime Brew Restaurant

I am sorry that I do not have a photo of the Lime Brew Restaurant in Astana.I walked to this restaurant from the Radisson SAS hotel. They can give you directions to find this restaurant. It was probably a 10-15 minute walk. The weather was cool but not cold so it made for refreshing exercise.As I recall the restaurant has colorful stained glass windows that draw your eye. Even inside, the stained glass reds and oranges highlight the decorations.When you enter you realize that the restaurant has a medieval theme. There are large and heavy tables and chairs and a blazing spit where the steaks are cooked.You can tell by the happy conversation going on throughout the room that the patrons are enjoying the ambiance and the food and drink. The staff was friendly and provided good service.I had a horse steak that I enjoyed. But the menu is varied and you will find something for anyone's...
