Atyrau in comparison to other cities in Kazakhstan is like a Gold rush town from America when whites began the gold rush frenzy in the states except its Black Gold(Oil)Town is full of prostitutes and live in temporary wives for expats while there away from there legal wife at home.Resraurants are overpriced and the Flights and hotel prices are similar to what you will find in Europe.Dont go to Atyrau and expect scenary there is none.Almaty has the potential to be a holiday destination for overseas holiday makers with plenty to do and has good scenery.Astana well if your into architecture go there but besides that its boring. Its a city without a soul and a heart beat. Its like a pair of shoes straight out of the box but has not yeath been worn.
