Our transport to Lake Song Kul was in a trusty 4x4 Mitsubishi. It was pre-arranged, as was the accommodation at the lake, through our agent in Bishkek. In fact, due to mudslides washing away some roads, our itinerary and route changed while we in Naryn Oblasty. However, thanks to some superb driving by our experienced driver, we managed to get to the Song Kul lake.
