Asman cafe: Good salads after a long wait
Asman cafe is in the centre of karakol. It's s nice courtyard seating. It took ages to wait for our two salads but they were good.
All in for 330som (£4).
We came back again and this time for shashlik (BBQ) duck
Awesome, just 110som (£1.30).
Maximum cafe: Maximum cafe
Maximum is a restaurant just opposite and along from the Turkestan yurt camp.
Portions were massive and once again we went with intentions of eating small and coming out full
The salmon came with 2 salmon steaks!
With a soup and two salads and endless tea it cost 700som(£9)
Service was friendly too
Lovely Pizza: Forget this place
Lovely Pizza is a very small Place. Just a few tables. Slow service and very boring atmosphere.
I came here only because one in the Company wanted to smoke hookah but she left the Place unsatisfied too. The beer was OK, but the same beer was served at more fun places.

Fakir Cafe: good food, good environment
Despite the interesting name, this cafe is popular among locals and foreign aid workers because of it's good food and clean environment. The menu is currently only in Russian, but the owners plan on creating an English version soon.
Favorite Dish: Brizol - I don't know where this dish originates, but its like a thin slice of beef fried in eggs and then wrapped around a fresh salad like a burito. Very delicious!
