So, if you ride your bike far enough on the road towards Vietnam you reach Lao cement factory. It's huge building and it's actually ugly despite its recent industrial architecture. It's shared Lao-Chinese ownership. I wanted to take photo at the site but then I didn't because I thought it won't look too nice. But then you see those parts of mountain gone and you realize that's not really worth it. I come from construction field, so I pay attention to those kind of things, constructions, you know. But now, I can only be impressed by its environmental impacts and overall size. It's one of the biggest in Laos and well promoted through advertisments on huge panels.
