Unfortunately we dont have the name of this restaurant I can only describe it's location.
It is down the main street on the right hand side as you come into town very central on a corner it is an open restaurant and if the night we went is any indication it is very busy and noisy.
We had a very vivacious waitress possibly the owner as she was an older lady we thought she had a good command of English but she could only speak what was on her menu. She laughed and made jokes making us feel very much at home given we were the only Westerners and we had to share a table with a elderley local chap. The average cost of a meal was 10,000 kip I cant remember what we had but we were all very satisfied.

Reputably to be the best retaurant in town and we found it hard to dispute this fact. The food was delicious but dont expect fine line and crockery!!! more like plastic chairs and tables. There were 6 of us in our group our meal consisted of 9 hot Milo drinks, 1 freshly queezed orange juice, 3 large beers, spring rolls for 6 plus 6 main meals with rice total cost 160,000kip. We all felt very happy & content. The service was pretty good I think the poor girl was fed up making Milo by the time we had finished but she was always cheerful and tried to chat even though her English was not that good but our Laos was non existent!!!
