land of many rivers
So, if you travel to NPA Nam Pouy be ready to pass few rivers. The one on the pic isn't more than a knee deep but you need to check for the rocks before you drive in because some can be quite dangerous for your vehicle or wheel. We were there in dry season. In rainy season the water level will rise dramatically and travelling here is out of question unless you're on duty trip. Some rivers are deeper and faster than that one when you travel deeper into the jungle. In case something happen to your vehicle you will need to find help from the villagers but beware that they have very limited resources and that sometimes it takes a few hours walk before you get to first village. Usually there're one or two mechanics whose fix usual motorbikes. Very a few people own the car here, so you cannot rely to find special parts. In most villages in NPA there's no electricity either.
