This is a very nice French restaurant.Owned by a Lao chef that has been cooking in France for a while. Now he returned to Laos to open his own restaurant.
Yummie spring rolls and filled dumplings Hong Kong style.Air-con restaurant but still inexpensive!
The Colombo Restaurant has a decent and very inexpensive (2.50$) All-you-can-eat buffet for lunch.Samosas, Curries and Nan!
This Vietnamese place serves wonderful warm, crispy baguette with paté, salad and coriander. They're even better than the ones you get in Vietnam.
This is a simple Indian eatery in Luang Prabang. The food is surprisingly good and authentic. They also have a branch in Vang Vieng, which is just as good. The Malai Kofte was excellent
All meals in Laos are served with local Sticky Rice. Sometimes it is served in a bowl but often in a basket with a lid.Rollit into balls with your hand and scoop up some food with it.
Next to the fountain in central Vientienne is this lovely place with fresh baked bread and great food. General foreigners hangout. Croissant with whatever you like in them. Fresh and lovely.
Enjoy delicious Lao (and Western) food in a balmy garden while listening to live traditional music.
Try local noodle soup with sticky rice biscuit, very low table and chair. Try they home make chili sauce, spicy and tasty and I saw some one had two bowls. And yet cheapest in LP.
