It is considered, for many, the most famous restaurant of Macau. The building, seen from the outside, is more or like a hut overgrown with vines. Inside, the place extends out into a huge bungalow and an open-air bar.
I didn't know, but the owner is from my archipelago, namelly Pico Island, and arrived in Macau long time ago. I had opportunity to talk to him. The menu features plenty of Portuguese-style seafood and meat dishes.
"Bife com ovo à cavalo", steak with egg, is a good option for a meat dish. It served with chips or rice.
If you decide to go there, I advise you to book in advance!
Favorite Dish: Try stewed clams in wine sauce, grilled sardines and roasted chicken.

Situated on Praça Eduardo Marques, just close to Igreja de São Francisco Xavier, this is a good Macanese restaurant, worth a visit while in Coloane. They prepare seafood in a very good way...

the location is nice. in front of largo da eduardo marques and facing to china mainland [zhuhai] which connected by narrow channel. it's nice to have lunch or dinner here, companied with a glass of portuguese wine.
Favorite Dish: can be choosen chinese food and dim sum, also several portuguese menu, such as camaroes [grilled prawn with chilli and peppers] and pudim flan [creme caramel].

there are 2 lord stow's cafe in coloane village. nearby lord stow's pastelaria [cakeshop/bakery] at rua do tassara and the other is situated nearby bus stop and city square [largo presidente antonio ramalho eanes] at rua do meio.
both of them are decorated in simple style but very convenient. and since andrew stow [the owner] is a british, these cafes have british atmosphere inside.
Favorite Dish: absolutely the famous pasteis de nata [egg tartlet] with its crispy puff pastry and creamy fillings. added with earl grey tea will be perfect. but the cafe also have other delicious menu like soup and salad bar.
