    The legal age to enter the casino is 18 years of age.

    Do remember to bring your passport as proof of age - otherwise security WILL barr you from entering.

    Also remember that you are not allowed to take any pictures in the premises.

    No sandals, decently dressed.

    The Sands Casino has hit Macau and will be coming over to Singapore soon.

    Sands has the largest crowd of people at their casino. The casino occupies many floors and has a buffet restaurant, Chinese restaurant and fast food outlets.

    A great place to have your dinner at the Moonlight Market. We tasted one of the best roast pork and roast duck platter here in Macau.

    Sands is expanding and building construction has already began for another wing.

    Wynn is arguably one of the most exclusive casinos in Macau.

    If you must dine here, try the Il Theatro. The elevator by the front lobby will whisk you to the 2nd floor where there is a magnificient view of the musical fountain outside or what they call the 'performance lake'. The name Il Teatro is very apt because the fountain dances to the tune of Broadway and classical music.

    Food is great and of course service by Filipino wait staff is always friendly.

    Do catch the free Tree of Life Show in its lobby (show is every 20 mins).

    They will not turn you away for wearing jeans but you must dress smart so as not to feel out of place.

    • Hotel Lisboa one of the most famous hotel in Macau and is a trademark of Macau.

    The hotel was designed with "Feng Shui" beliefs. The entrance resembles the mouth of a tiger, which swallow gamblers money as they enter the casino. The main structure is a birdcage, which is meant to trap the money in.

    The jackpots machines are know as "Tiger Machines" here in Macau. Not all casinos has jackpot machines.

    At one entrance, you could see the private antiques collections belonging to the ownere of the hotel. It is like a mini museum.

    There is a lane where some pretty ladies will walk up and down non stop until they found their customer for the night. It will be interesting if you spend a few minutes there watching the ladies doing their catwalk show.

    The casinos in Macau operate 24 hours a day.There are altogether 10 casinos in Macau and Taipa and the most obvious is the casino at Hotel Lisboa.One can basically `smell' the $$$$ in the air.. *kah-ching* :)

    • there is a good band playing at the lounge in the MGM and there are some excellent Macanese restaurants for food/wine. Enjoy!

    • Highly recommendable if you like to see the place where the turnover is larger then in Las Vegas, if you like to get serenaded in Italian in an actual gondola, if like to see the real gamblers of the world - the Chinese - go at it. If you like serious shopping, people watching and .... gambling.

  • Directions: It's actually on the island Taipa and every taxidriver knows it. The Venetian shuttles leave from the ferry terminal (one hour boattrip; on fridaynight it's always busy, so it will take you another hour to pass customs) and the airport.

    • I have been living in Macau for 6 years now and i feel so bored and i thank them for creating this beautiful fishermans wharf(photos not yet uploaded but very soon). Macau is well know for its casino so its not good if my life will be exposed to gambling..so i am thankful that i can go somewhere else and spend some nights here..whenever i come to this place, i feel like i am not in macau nor in china, its like in europe, well for europeans, maybe you wouldnt like that feeling but would it be nice to see something familiar when you go to china? i guarantee and recommend that when you come to macau donot forget to visit this place and you'll never regret it.

    any clothes as long as you have something on..not your undies or footwear ok?

    IF U LIKE TO GAMBLE A BIT THEN THIS IS THE ONLY CASINO TO GO THE REST R QUITE DEPRESSING THEY R BUILDING SOME OTHERS AT THE MOMENT BUT THIS ONE IS THE MOST MODERN IN MACAU

    CASUAL AND THEY HAVE SECURITY AT THIS CASINO JUST LIKE GOING THRU THE AIRPORT
