 | Concelho de Macau Restaurants | Tips 1 - 10 of 101 | | This restaurant is a bit off the tourists spots and most of their customers are locals. Located just beside Jardim Camoes. Never miss their Dimsum (siomai) and spareribs. Its really good and very reasonable price.

Yee Shun Milk Company??? With a name like this, what else can you expect but MILK!!! Well, I first visited this cafe when I was in Hong Kong last year. However, it was a great experience to finally visit the original cafe in Macau (Yee Sun Milk Company originates in Macau!). One of my favourite items is the chilled fresh milk pudding! It's refreshing and not too sweet - just nice for a hot afternoon to chill out. Don't expect great decor at this place - it's pretty rundown though one of the bosses whom I spoke to has the intention to bring this company to Singapore! Well, let's wait and see! Each bowl of pudding costs about MOP14 onwards. And many thanks to VTer xuessium who shared with us the presence of this cafe in Macau! Beef Jerky is one famous food in Macau. A smoke meat that has numerous flavors. A little bit pricey but its worth a try. A lot of stalls are selling this jerky along Ruin's of st. Paul Street.

Lemon Cello gellato is one of the best gellato that ive ever tasted. So creamy and the taste is so distinct from the others. My favorite is the Ferrero Rocher flavor. Around 12 MOP per scoop Theme: DessertPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than average

Like Hong Kong, tea cafes are also very popular in Macau. In fact, tea cafes have formed a part of the community life and you can find a tea cafe in every corners of Macau. Do not expect tea cafes to be like your typical restaurant. It is just a small eating outlet filled with people from all walks of life. On a typical day, you can see these guests exchanging the latest gossip or merely taking a break from the hustle and bustle of life at these cafes. And don't expect good hygiene too - but the food spread is good! One such tea cafe which I would highly recommend is the Golden Cameron or "Jin Ma Lun". This two-storey cafe is located behind the St Dominic's Church. It is located next to a 7-eleven store - hence, you won't miss it! The tea cafe is opened very early in the morning to cater to the morning rush and closed pretty late in the evening too. Prices are low and yet the food is fresh - right from the oven or wok!!!
I've tried the coconut puddings, egg tarts, pork chop bun, "wonton" noodles and the ham marconi soup at this cafe. I would give thumbs up for all the food I've ordered. My all time favourite is the coconut puddings - very refreshing and yet not too sweet. So, do drop in at the cafe to sample what the locals eat! Kum Ma Lon (Golden Cameron) is a typical "Cha Chang Teng" you would find in Macau. Cha Cheng Teng are typically a very small shop where you have a quick meal to satisfy your hunger. There is no fancy decor and the seats are narrow. But one comforting point is that the food spread is good and delicious. Kum Ma Lon is situated behind the St Dominic's Church and next to 7-Eleven store. Ask for directions if you are lost. We ordered all their popular dishes like Pork Chop Bun (MOP10), Wanton Noodle Soup (MOP16), Salt Pepper Chilli Pork chop rice (MOP23) and another extra servings of Salt Pepper Chilli Pork Chop (MOP30) for everyone to share as it was simply delicious. We took away some egg tarts at MOP3 for each pieces. Ask for the English Menu if you have problem ordering what you want or point to what people are eating. The staff are very patient and poliet. Ma Kok Meng Ke (Ming Kei) Ma Kok Meng Ke is located about 200m from A Ma Temple and is situated on the same row as A Lorcha. This branch serves very tasty Portuguese food and has over 340 items on its menu. We ordered Ox Tail Curry with rice (MOP23), Fried Rice with salted cod fish (MOP22), African Chicken (MOP24), Garlic Butter Baked Cod Fish (MOP28), Grilled Pork Ribs with Port Red Wine (MOP25). The staff do not really speak English but they do have English menu. They are impatient and would like you to order as quickly as possible. I was told off by one of the staff that "Order food also so difficult. Try and if not nice dont come back". But being a tourist, you can be assured that we wont be back even how delicious your food are with that kind of service.

We had one of our best meal at Sands Casino. As no cameras are allowed into the casino, we did not take any photograph of the food we ate. However, this is one of the best meal that we had in a Restaurant in Macau. The servings are just nice for four of us. We ordered rice (HK5), BBQ Pork Platter (HK50), Roast Duck Platter (HK50), Sombo Meat & Seafood Porridge (HK35), Bitter Gourd Pork Rice (HK38), Beef Brisket Noodles (HK30) and Fried Beancurd Skill with Prawns (HK25). We ended up paying HK256, which is inclusive of 10% service charge, for a dinner for 4 pax at a nice restaurant .

For the best pastry, look no further. Golden Cameron or Jin Ma Lun is the place you should visit early in the morning. The aroma of the freshly-baked pastries fills up the whole cafe and it is packed with locals in the morning. Working adults also visit this cafe to pick up a few pieces before they head for their offices. Remember to buy a bottle (in glass) of fresh milk to go with your pastries. Hmm... heavenly!
You should not miss the egg tarts at this place. My friend loves the egg tarts so much that she makes it a point to drag me with her to this cafe to pick a few pieces every day (throughout our stay in Macau)! Prices starting from MOP3 onwards for each piece of egg tart. While you are there, do check out other items such as its sponge cakes and buns. You will not regret it! One of the items that you should not miss when you are in Macau is the PORK CHOP BUN! When you are in Macau, eat like a Macauese. The pork chop bun is part of the locals' tradition and everywhere you go, you will see the young, the old, the ladies and the gentlemen eating this popular dish. It's easy to eat and you can eat it everywhere you go in Macau! The pork chop is fried and placed it in a freshly-baked loaf. Eat it when it's hot - it really warms your heart! So, when you are in Macau, don't ever miss this famous dish. This can be found in the local tea cafes or "Cha Ca Teng".
