Pastelaria St. Paulo (Dai Shan Ba Bing Kah): Seaweed wafer with pork floss and seasemee

by imstress

Pastelaria St. Paulo is located just opposit the famous Koi Kei at the foot of St. Paul Ruins. Koi Kei is a very fierce competitor with many outlets in Macau and Taipa. You can try their freshly baked almond cookies and seaweed wafer wrapped with pork floss and seaseeme seeds. A box of 18 pieces of seaweed wafer cost MOP16. The promotion was with purchases of 5 boxes you get a box of complimentary seaweed wafer. Why not bring 6 boxes back for souvenier to your family and friends.

Ma Kok Meng Ke (Ming Kei): Macanese Food

by imstress

Ma Kok Meng Ke (Ming Kei)Ma Kok Meng Ke is located about 200m from A Ma Temple and is situated on the same row as A Lorcha. This branch serves very tasty Portuguese food and has over 340 items on its menu. We ordered Ox Tail Curry with rice (MOP23), Fried Rice with salted cod fish (MOP22), African Chicken (MOP24), Garlic Butter Baked Cod Fish (MOP28), Grilled Pork Ribs with Port Red Wine (MOP25). The staff do not really speak English but they do have English menu. They are impatient and would like you to order as quickly as possible. I was told off by one of the staff that "Order food also so difficult. Try and if not nice dont come back". But being a tourist, you can be assured that we wont be back even how delicious your food are with that kind of service. every dishes we ordered are delicious

Sam Hou Keng is a typical "Cha Chang Teng" that you would find in Hong Kong. We had our meal first Macau meal here. This shop is located just outside where we stayed at Hotel Grandeur. We order roast pork (char siew and siew yock) and roast duck noodles. It was the most delicious roast pork we have ever tasted.Roast duck was quite good too. In Singapore, we would order our noodles dry and with chilli. In Macau, all the noodles are served in a big bowl with soup. Once you step into the shop, you will be served with Chinese Tea for MOP3.The cost of a bowl of noodles starts from MOP12. Roast Pork NoodlesRoast Duck Noodles

Shanghai "Seong Hui Cheong Seng": Shanghai Food in Macau

by myspices

The restaurant is quite packed during dinner. They serve noodles and rice and ala-carte dishes. Menus will be provided. We actually had our dinner earlier and so this meal is kind of a supper. We went in specially to taste the dumplings as from the window of the restaurant we saw them making the dumplings and seem to be delicious. Clean and spacious ambience. You need to wait for the dumplings to be steamed - about 20minutes. Pic shows 2 dishes : noodles and dumplings. Forget about the noodles - you can get better ones elsewhere. The dumplings are tasty and delicious. Eat them when they are steamy hot. Fillings are of minced meat and vegetables. For spicy flavour, dip them in the chilly sauce
