Koi Kee bakery: Food Shopping

by Jannoo

Koi Kee is a franchise bakery in Macau. You can basically see this shop every where you go. The best part is you can try almost all the food in this bakery shop from many type of almond cookies, meat floss egg roll, sesame candies. The cookies and egg roll are made fresh in the shop. Great :) Almond Cookies, Egg Tart, Dried "roast" meat, sesame candies....yummy yummy

You haven't been to Macau without buying from...: KOI KEI!!!

by stamporama

From its Venetian outlet to the pedestrian street leading up to the St. Paul ruins, Pastelaria Koi Kei is almost as ubiquitous as McDonald's is in the US. You'll never fail to see at least one departing person either at the Macau airport or ferry terminal toting a Koi Kei shopping bag with its load of goodies. Peanut candies, almond cookies, cookies of different varieties, and also beef jerkies. As of May 2009, a bag of peanut candies cost 32 patacas but it goes down to 28 if you buy at least 4 bags.

Pastelaria Koi Kei: Yummy Almond Cookies & Peanut Candies!

by limledi

Pastelaria Koi Kei is a famous souvenir shop in Macau selling almond cookies & peanut candies among other food stuff. It is fortunate that we stayed in Kowah Hotel just across this bakery. Very convenient & handy for buying souvenir gifts for friends & relatives back home. Yummy almond cookies & peanut candies. It is cheaper to buy in bulk.

Shing Hing Almond Cake Shop (³ÉÐ˱ý¼Ò): Most Fragrant Almond Cookies

by yann.ng

It's a small and not eye-catching shop but you'll be lure to the shop by the fragrant of their charcoal-fired cookies. The almond cookies has a small piece of almond stuck on it and is very strong in fragrant. Personally i find it better than the ones i sampled at the other 2 bakeries with many outlets around the whole of Macau. The shopkeepers are very friendly and patient while letting us sample their products and explaining the different prices for different cookies. Chess-sized Almond cookies good for souvenirs MOP20 per small plastic bottle

New Yaohan Department Store: I think it's the only Departmental Store in Macau

by yann.ng

I believe this is the only departmental store in Macau for now. A wide range of Japanese cartoon merchandise, Japanese food produce at reasonable price. There are also branded clothings for all age and gender. You can also find electronics products sold there.

Mobilias Mei Choi: Little Nice Curio Shop

by i-s-a

This is a little shop full of antiques and replicas. What makes this place special is the nice lady at the counter. She's very friendly and makes the visitors feel welcome. She lets you hold and admire the wares without giving you the look (yes...some shop owners do!). We bought here a beautiful hand-painted black lacquered jewelry box and a domino playset in a colorful replica box.I would have loved to bring home the beautiful wedding armoire and rocking chair if I could hehehe. Expect items to be a little expensive as each one is a work of art...and the vicinity is frequented by tourist. Bargaining is a must!

SASARAP! ahaha: Almond Pastries

by jayjayc

Watson's (Senado Square): Biggest Watson's Store in China

by chatterley

The Watson's store at the Senado Square proclaims that it is the "biggest Watson's in China". This store has got several levels, selling beauty products (from Loreal to high-ended brands such as SKII), food, snacks, luggage bags etc. I really regret not buying those Hello Kitty bread toasters (the toast will be imprinted with Hello Kitty's face when it pops out of the toaster!!)... or the Hello Kitty water kettle, phone, etc..

Pastelaria Koi Kei: No. 1 sales in Macau!

by chatterley

According to the banner, Koi Kei has been hogging the top spot in sales of souvenirs in Macau for the past 5 years! Wow! My friends have also recommended this shop, which is well-known for its peanut candies, almond cookies etc.We bought almond cookies (different flavours available) and peanut candies for family and friends at the shop near the ruins of St. Paul's. It also sells Portugese egg-tarts at 6 MOP a piece. If you buy 4 boxes of almond cookies, the price is 100 MOP.
