Casinos: Casinos

by MacKiwi

All of the nine casinos in Macau are operated under Government franchise by the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversoes de Macau (STDM) and the rules are standard in all gaming halls. The largest casino is the Lisboa Tourist Complex (see photo). Visitors to the casinos should read the sign at each entrance. Although there are no entrance fee to the casinos, administration can refuse entry to foreigners under 18 years of age and 21 years for local residents. There is no dress code. Players are also not obliged to tip any employees of the casinos.

Most Asian tourist come here...

by Bradmed

Most Asian tourist come here to gamble (casino, horse or dog racing), enjoy the chickens (working girls) or Karaoke. For Westerns, you can enjoy the newly built clubs with western music in the land reclamation area.Various types of clubs and dance spots. Nice mix of Asian and European only in Macao. Casual yet clubby

by DesertRat

There are zillions of night clubs and casinos in Macao. The Chinese are inveterate gamblers, and Macao is the place to do it. On weekends the place swarms with people from Hong Kong whose principal reason for being there is to hit the casinos.

The Lisboa Casino is Macau’s largest casino. There are 4 floors of gaming as well as bars, restaurants and shops if you still have any pennies left.

Sands Macau

This is the first foreign-owned casino in the Macau SAR. The Venetian Group from Las Vegas, USA owns this casino. I don't recall a strict dress code into the casino area, eg. jeans are allowed.
