Lou Lim Leoc garden is a famous Chinese garden in Macau. It was a residence and garden of a wealthy Chinese merchant named Lou Kau in the 19th century. It inherited by his son, Lou Lim Leoc in 1906. Due to the family's fortune declines, it was sold to the government in 1974. The government has restored the park as an attraction till today.

This is classical Chinese garden with a large Pavilion surrounded by lotus flowers, landscaped gardens, and groves of bamboo. You can enjoy the views of lotus flowers with Chinese pavilion through the zigzags bridge across the pond.

    Opening Hours: 6am-9pm.

A Chinese garden built in Suzhou style. It's a beautiful example of a harmonious environment and a pleasant place to walk around in the heat.
I love this garden, so I tell more about it in the travelogue.

A nice way to spend a couple of hours, this garden is filled with lotus ponds, winding Chinese bridges, grottoes, and huge shady trees. There's was also a small Chinese art exhibit there when I visited, on display in a former colonial mansion.

    Lou Lim Ieoc Gardens

Visit the Lou Lim Ieoc Gardens, it was probably one of my favourite places in Macau.
It is very pretty and a nice place to spend some time... I loved the cute little picnic tables and chairs found throughout the gardens, all made with different things - stone, wood etc.
