This is just an information if emergency cases happens during your travel here in Kuala Lumpur and happens to be in Ampang area, the government hospital is situated at the Pandan Mewah town.
It has 562 bed strength and it can be catagorized as a General Hospital.
The address is Aras 1 Hospital Ampang, Jalan Mewah Utara, 68000 Padan Mewah, Ampang.
Telephone : 03-42898000.
I frequently visits this hospital as one of my companys branch is situated inside the hospital compound.

All these Ampang Ulu tips and photos were snapped from the area of shanties located behind the Plaza Ampang City which is also on the river estuary where Kelang river and Ampang river met. Tourists who want to snap estuary photos must pay a visit to this location.
The area has a name itself called Kampung Berembang but seldom recognize by outsiders as most Lumpurese only identify it as Ampang area.
How to get there
To visit this OTBP (off the beaten path) has to start from Plaza Ampang City. That I already assumed you know how to get from KL to Ampang. If you are in the road called Ampang Ulu which is the road to Plaza Ampang City, try tro look for those street coffee stalls under big shady trees. You can see a narrow road beside those stalls, yes please drive in or you can park your car outside by walking.
Walking can be easier as the road is already in bad shapes due to construction and development. Be careful, the are is not a safe place for luxurious travellers.
